Hungry and drunk

so this is something I found in the news recently:
"Russian woman says she inadvertently ate human body parts after two accused killers cooked her friend and served her with potatoes, a court has heard.
The trial against butcher Maxim Golovatskikh and florist Yury Mozhnov was postponed yesterday after a juror became sick while looking at prosecution photographs, the Daily Mail reports.
The men are accused of drowning 16-year-old Karina Barduchian, carving her body up and eating her.
Before the trial was halted, the court in St Petersburg heard the men gave lodger Ekaterina Zinoveya some of Barduchian's cooked body parts.
Ms Zinoveya told the court she and Barduchian went to Golovatskikh and Mozhnov's house for a party on January 19.
Ms Zinoveya said the victim was in love with Golovatskikh and went to the bathroom with him.
"I went to bed... I was sleepy but heard splashes of water and some noise ... I decided to check what was going on," she told the court.
"Yury stopped me ... and told me to go back to bed.
"They had joked earlier that they could kill Karina but, of course, I couldn't believe for a second that they were serious."
When Ms Zinoveya arrived home from work the next day, Golovatskikh and Mozhnov offered her meat and potatoes. The court heard she ate it, not realising it was parts of Barduchian's body.
Prosecutor Andrei Lavrenko alleged the men hid the rest of Barduchian's remains in skip bins.
"They cut up the body of the victim into several pieces, eating some of them and throwing the others into the bin," Mr Lavrenko said.
"They cooked her meat and served up the meal with potatoes.
"They were interrogated and explained the murder by saying they were desperate to eat."
The deputy head of St Petersburg criminal investigations said the men confessed to the murder, explaining they were "hungry and drunk".
The case is due to resume next week. "
